Shasta Daisy Seeds
Large, bright white flowers bloom continuously through summer, making it a beautiful addition to any perennial garden. Plants are easy to grow from seed, hardy, and long-lived for years of enjoyment. The 3" blooms attract bees and butterflies, and make great cut flowers. Produce colored flowers by placing stems in water with food coloring.
Low maintenance and great for containers. Well adapted to dry hot summer, thrives with little watering once established. Full Sun, tolerates part shade. Prefers fertile, well-drained soils, tolerates poor soil.
Perennial, USDA zones 5-9. Lush green foliage with stiff stems that tend to form clumps or mounds that are 2 to 3 feet tall and 1 to 2 feet wide.

Care: Remove spent flowers to promote further blooms. In the fall, after your plants have finished blooming, cut back the dead stems to basal growth, about 6" from the ground and cover with a layer of mulch to provide winter protection. In the spring remove any dead foliage. Add a 2- to 3-inch layer of mulch or similar material to aid in water retention and help keep the roots cool during hot weather.
